Challenge

BridgeFund, a Dutch fintech lender experiencing rapid growth, faced a challenge in scaling its operations. Their existing manual credit risk assessment process was time-consuming, creating a bottleneck and hindering efficiency. This process relied heavily on individual Risk Agent judgement, leading to inconsistencies and limiting their ability to effectively differentiate risk. Consequently, BridgeFund needed to leverage its data and technological capabilities to implement a faster, more accurate, and responsible credit risk assessment system.

Solution

The Banana Bean Agency, in partnership with Borg Consulting, addressed this challenge by playing a crucial role in BridgeFund’s “Risk 2.0” project. Our contribution focused on the design of a new risk portal, ensuring a user-centred approach.

UI Design and Figma Mockup: We designed a Figma mockup of the proposed risk portal, detailing the user interface and key functionalities. This design adhered to BridgeFund’s existing branding and UI guidelines, ensuring a cohesive and consistent user experience. The mockup aimed to create an intuitive and efficient experience for Risk Agents.

Result

The successful delivery of the Risk 2.0 project significantly improved BridgeFund’s credit risk assessment process. Specifically, our UI design work, through the Figma mockup, contributed to:

  • Enhanced User Experience: The intuitive and efficient design of the risk portal improved the user experience for Risk Agents.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: The risk portal design empowered BridgeFund to leverage its data resources for more effective and objective credit assessments.

  • Increased Efficiency: By visualising a more automated loan request evaluation process, the mockup facilitated the development of a system that would reduce processing time and allow Risk Agents to focus on more complex cases.

  • Adherence to Brand Guidelines: The design followed BridgeFund’s branding and UI, ensuring a consistent and professional look and feel.
